Madeleine Meredith is a multi-disciplinary artist and art therapist living and working in Washington, D.C. She was raised in Denver, Colorado, and took a gap year in Chile and Spain before starting college.

She majored in human geography and international studies at the University of Denver while still developing and finding her personal artistic voice. During her time in undergrad, she studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina and was selected for a field quarter program where she traveled extensively throughout the southwestern US and the Baja California peninsula.

After graduation, she returned to her passion for art and people. She started working at a domestic violence shelter where she realized her love of helping others use art to process and heal from traumatic experiences. She was accepted into George Washington University’s graduate school program for art therapy in 2020 and graduated in 2022. She currently works in community mental health with a focus on helping recently immigrated children and adolescents from Central America.
